After the《National education reform and development of long-termplanning programs(2010-2020)》 published,the focus of students’“schoolwork burden”once again becomes a hot spot of society.However,now all sectors of society commonly concern to problems schoolwork burdenof the students of compulsory cycle,instead of the students of senior highschool.Students of senior high school are special groups.They are in theperiod of an very important turning point in their life.If they areoverloaded with studies,it may create many physical and mental problemsto them and cause a regret to their lifelong development.Therefore,theschoolwork burden of the ordinary high school students is worth ofattention and research.The author takes students of senior one and seniortwo of one Qingdao high School as the research object. Throughquestionnaires, interviews and other research methods, the author seesand analyzes the schoolwork burden situation of senior high schoolstudents in Qingdao. The author tries to put forward some feasiblemeasures to alleviate the schoolwork burden of high school students, soas to promote the harmonious development of high school students’ bodyand mind.The paper is divided into four parts:Part One: Literature review. On the basis of the existing researchresults,the author discusses on the connotation, extension andclassification of “schoolwork burden”.Part Two: Investigation and analysis of the current situation ofordinary senior high school students’ schoolwork burden. In this part,the author takes a certain senior high school of Qingdao as the researchobject. I also simply statistics and analyzes some leading indicator ofordinary senior high school students’schoolwork burden from the objectiveand subjective aspects.Thus we canshow directly and analyze scientifically to the real situation of ordinary senior high schoolstudents’ schoolwork burden in Qingdao.Part Three: Analysis of the reason why ordinary senior high schoolstudents have heavy schoolwork burden. The author did some questionnaireto the students of ordinary senior high school and interviewed someteachers. The author has been working in ordinary senior high school forten years. So I present some reasons that causes students’ heavyschoolwork burden from the aspects of society, school, family and studentsthemselves.Part Four: Strategies to improve the problem of ordinary senior highschool students’ heavy schoolwork burden. After doing some research onthe current situation of a certain ordinary senior high school students’heavy schoolwork burden in Qingdao and reflection analysis to the reasons,the author presents some concrete measures to alleviate the studentsburden. The author also discusses the improvement strategies in schooland education administrative department. The content covers family andstudents themselves, and tries to solve the practical problems.
