| The learning adaptability problems of freshmen in middle school not only affect their academic performance, but also their personal growth. If these problems were not corrected in time, temporary study maladaptive behavior would become into serious learning difficulties. Some students even began to hate and refuse to study and can’t complete normal education. So it’s important and urgent to study their learning adaptability and found out the influence factors, then explore the learning strategies to help them to well adapt the middle school study life.This study adopted self-prepared questionnaire to make a survey on1200freshmen in6middle schools in Jinhua City. Some teachers, parents and freshmen were interviewed at the same time. And the recycling1098valid questionnaires data was processed and analyzed with SPSS19.0to get an overall situation and the concrete content. The interview data was classified as auxiliary of questionnaire to understand the freshmen learning adaptability status quo.The survey results showed as follows:the overall situation of learning adaptability is well up to the average, more than80%of the students can adapt to middle school study life in two months, over70%of the students have high self satisfaction in their learning performance, some students have emotion and study problems, there is also some problems in their interpersonal relations. This article analyzed the learning adaptability of freshmen in middle school mainly from four concrete dimensions:learning foundation, learning attitude, learning problems and learning environment:students’ learning foundation are at average levels, their previous study is good, most students know the importance of learning methods, but lack will power to stick to the methods into their own learning habits; their learning attitude is good on the whole and their confidence and independence are high, they can also face study difficulties and setbacks and correctly treat and handle them, their willpower is poorer, lack the spirit to go distance; Most students think there are big changes between middle school study and primary school study, these changes influenced their study, they also have some inadaptation in teacher’s teaching methods and teaching model; about learning environment, students adapt better in the school environment and family environment, most schools have adopted some measures to help students to adapt to new study life, most parents are concerned about children’s study, students’ after-school arrangements are colorful and reasonable, they have some problems in getting along with teachers, parents and friends.Based on the above investigation, the influence factors of learning adaptability were concluded respectively from four aspects included school, family, society, and freshmen themselves. According to the study of the learning adaptability status quo and influence factors, countermeasures and suggestions were put forward to solve the learning adaptability problems. |
