Table tennis is one of the popular sports in colleges anduniversities in our country, but because table tennis is a technology with relativelyhigh content of sports, table tennis practice improve the requirements of the technicallevel of the cycle is long, students want to in a short time to improve own level thereis a lot of difficulties, to improve the effect of table tennis teaching, teachers have toconstantly research on teaching, innovation of new teaching methods, improve theirtechnical level. Along with the reform of physical education, the traditional teachingmethod has already can not adapt to social demands for modern talent cultivation, soneed to introduce a new way of teaching, as the continuous development and progress, also emerged a lot of modern teaching methods, such as: multimedia teaching, therepresentation training method, the layered teaching method, cooperative learning andso on, these methods than the traditional teaching method in physical educationteaching has obtained the good teaching effect to some extent, the traditional teachingmethod, teaching of table tennis there are many shortcomings, for teachers, and theinfusion, inspired is insufficient, lack of innovation, seriously hindered the students’self-study ability, innovation ability, develop the spirit of scientific thinking ability.Asynchronous teaching method which is a kind of "all for each student’sdevelopment" as the objective, change passive to active learning, students can givefull play to the leading role of the teacher, the students become the study master, trulyachieve the students’ individual, in the process of asynchronous teaching according tostudents’ individual differences, differences of different technology, different teachinggoal, each of the students in the suitable for their own learning group to learn andpractice that allows each student to experience the joy of success, thus greatlyenhance the students’ learning confidence, fully mobilize students learning enthusiasmand initiative, so as to improve the technical level of the students.According to the theoretical basis of asynchronous teaching, guiding principlesand implementation process, compared with traditional teaching teaching effect withasynchronous teaching, objective to explore the asynchronous teaching method intable tennis elective course is feasible, motor skills of students’ learning ability, teaching ability of teachers and students, technical achievements have significantdifferences. This study used literature method, experimental method, logical analysis.Fasten with chengdu sports college class of2011students as the research object, thestudents were divided into control group and experimental group, for17weeks34hours of teaching experiment, the assessment on all of the students in the same way, examination form including forehand attack, left push right attack, backhand chop.Asynchronous teaching theory in the teaching experiment method to sports collegetable tennis teaching in the common course of the implementation and applicationeffects compared with traditional method of teaching experiment research, the resultsshowed that the experimental group and evaluation of student performance scores arehigher than the control group, asynchronous teaching method is feasible incompulsory table tennis course and the following conclusions:1the asynchronous teaching method helps to solve the differences of theteaching goal2the asynchronous teaching method helps to improve teachers’ teaching ability3asynchronous teaching method is beneficial to students’ ability of learning4the asynchronous teaching method to improve student performance...
