With the concept of quality continues to win support among the people andreform in education continues to develop further, at the same time of content of sportsteaching constantly changing, more educational people gradually realize that themiddle school aerobics can play a more significant role in enriching the cultural life oncampus and promoting all-round development of students’ morality, intelligence, body,beauty in the concept of quality education. Although the importance of developingmiddle school aerobics has been widely recognized, the Aerobics in middle schools ofour country is not coordinated: there is2/3of the total number of the students, a fewschools have provided the course that is related to the course of aerobics, but in bettereconomic urban schools education is relatively better. Therefore, as a prerequisite toeducation policy of the eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,in the "construction of new socialist countryside" background, it is very important todevelop the development of rural middle school aerobics to the development ofaerobics in middle schools in our country.The main content of the research of this paper is the development presentsituation of rural middle schools in Changsha City. It takes34schools that wererandomly selected from about186rural middle schools in four counties and cities ofChangsha City of Changsha County, Wangcheng County, Liuyang City, NingxiangCounty as the main research object. It uses the literature method, interview method,questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics method and logic analysismethod to carry out in-depth analysis of the current situation to the34rural middleschools. So the main conclusions are as follows:1. Aerobics class implementation isnot ideal in the rural middle school of four counties and cities of Changsha City.2.Sports teachers’ current situation is not reasonable in the rural school, and the qualityis also low.3Leaders do not attach importance, less investment, lack of venues andequipment.4. Lack of unified calisthenics teaching materials, the teaching content israndomness.5. Outdated teaching methods, lack of new ideas, single teachingevaluation means.6. Most teachers can have correct understanding of aerobics, but lesschances of learning.7. Students’ limited understanding to aerobics exercise project,some students even have no contact.8. Influence factors: school leaders do not attachmuch importance to aerobics, the lack of professional aerobics teachers, insufficientcapital investment from the school and lack of equipment of aerobics, the limit ofsports of the senior high school entrance examination, a single form of studyingcontent and assessment, propaganda is not enough, remote location of the rural middle school, extracurricular sports activities is less. Therefore, in order to better promote thedevelopment of Aerobics in rural middle schools of the four cities and counties, it putforward the following suggestions:1. Expand the propaganda, improve leadership’semphasis.2. Strengthen construction of aerobics teachers in the rural middle school inChangsha City, improve the quality and quantity of the aerobics teacher.3. Make thecorresponding teaching plan for rural middle schools in Changsha City, furtherstrengthen construction to aerobics course in the middle school.4. Increase funding insports and gradually improve the aerobics teaching facilities.5. Establishextracurricular aerobics club to rich campus life.6. Strengthen propaganda, raiseawareness of schools, teachers and students of aerobics.
