Poetry is not only the precious relic, but also the essence of ancient Chinese culture. The poetry teaching carries the important mission of passing five thousands Chinese culture from generation to generation. However, in the secondary vocational school, the poetry teaching does not deserve corresponding attention due to the simple language but abstract meaning. This leads to the weariness of students’learning, and of teachers’teaching. To change this situation, writer has conducted a questionnaire survey on the current situation of poetry teaching, and raised the opinion of "Temperament and Interest Teaching of Poetry in Secondary Vocational School". It aims to optimize the poetry teaching efficiency by studying the application of the "Temperament and Interest Teaching of Poetry" based on the theory and practice.The essay structure is as below:1. Introduction:summary of the research topic, including the raise of the topic, background, summary of bibliography, research ideas.2. Survey and analysis of current situation of poetry teaching in secondary vocational school:summary of current situation of poetry teaching based on the questionnaire and writer’s teaching experience: students’weariness of study, and teacher’s weariness of teaching. And analysis is carried out in terms of the social reason, teacher and student themselves by combining the practical situation.3. Theory of "Temperament and Interest Teaching of Poetry":first, explain the connotation and origin of "Temperament and Interest Teaching of Poetry" in terms of theory; second, indicate the importance of "Temperament and Interest Teaching of Poetry" to students’physical and mental development and the career in the future. 4. The application of "Temperament and Interest Teaching of Poetry" Combining students’physical and mental characteristics, writer points out the teaching methods on the basis of "language","media""practice","comment" and "profession" with the evidence of teaching examples.5. Conclusion:point out the shortage of the essay and the direction of further research.This essay aims to be the source of reference for the theory research and practice of "Temperament and Interest Teaching of Poetry" by explaining the "Temperament and Interest Teaching of Poetry" in the aspects of theory and practice.
