As a literary genre with a strong lyrical color,poetry has long been popular with the students, so it is an important content of Chinese teaching. However, in recent years, the traditional poetry teaching mode has been challenged, which is especially prominent in the Chinese teaching of middle vocational school. Not directly promote the employment of poetry teaching. Principals are ignored in the period, not essential condition. Even so, the Chinese teaching staff in secondary vocational school should not give up the research and improvement of the Chinese poetry teaching, and should realize the important significance and the practical function of the vocational school language education.Through own research and experiment, the author summarizes a set of effective teaching mode of middle vocational school. Specifically, the first is the poem language aesthetic poetry, aesthetic and poetic aesthetic three step by step to reach the goal of aesthetic education; followed by introduction to introduce situation, with a reading of arouse emotion, questions to stimulate curiosity and gradually cultivate students’ learning initiative; in addition, with the help of network resources and resource of outside reading to make up for the lack of classroom teaching, to enrich the teaching content, open up horizons of students. Finally, the poetry teaching and secondary vocational school moral education work integration, perfect personality of the students, improve students’ comprehensive quality and contribute to a. After nearly a semester of teaching experiment, the new model has achieved initial results,students have formed a strong interest in the study of poetry, learning initiative has been initially constructed, good reading habits are gradually formed.However, in the process of this research and practice, there are still some problems need to be solved. One is how to attract the attention of students in a long time, so that students can develop a solid active learning habits; two is the reform of the teaching mode of Chinese poetry in secondary vocational schools to get more support and more abundant resources, so that the reform can continue to advance. The author hopes that this paper will make some preliminary discussions on the reform ofthe teaching mode of poetry, which can cause more research interests in the field of educational circles.
