With the approach of the knowledge-based economy, the combination ofhigher education and economic construction and social development isbecoming more and more closely, whose contribution to the economic andsocial development has become increasingly prominent. In order to win thecompetition, competitive sports needs a large number of professionals topromote the sports, who could master modern science and technology, andalso gain the sports knowledge as well, to understand their own strengths andweaknesses, to learn management experience from brother schools so as toform their own school characteristics to maintain a dominant position in thecompetition. And currently it has become an urgent need to solve the problemfor the sports schools.With research methods of literature data, expert interviews andquestionnaires, this article mainly conduct the research of these followingissues: the meaning, the main features, the constituent elements, the law offormation, the general judge ideas of the service among sports schools’ corecompetitiveness towards competitive sports; the strengths and weaknesses,the opportunities and threats of the service among sports schools towardscompetitive sports and the way how to turn the advantages into the corecompetitiveness of sports schools.Through the research and analysis, this article is mainly concluded andsummarized as follows:Firstly, the service among sports schools’ core competitiveness towardscompetitive sports refers to the core knowledge, skills, abilities, materials andequipments that sports school provides for the development of competitivesports, which are to ensure that the school keeps the advantages among thecompetitions to maintain sustainable living and development. It consists ofthe production capacity of athletic talents, academic study, and the function to serve the community and the cultural force.Secondly, the formation mechanism of the service among sports schools’core competitiveness towards competitive sports is mainly manifested bymastering the core knowledge, skills or abilities of serving for competitivesports, or owning core resources for the services towards competitive sports,and gradually forming a cultural force that considers serving for competitivesports as the core and establishing an effective mechanism for the efficientintegration of core knowledge, resources, capabilities as well in the longterms of practice.The strengths among sports schools towards competitive sports aremainly shown as school’s overall cultural force, and the production capabilityof athletic talents, academic study, and the function to serve the communitythat continuously appear under of the cultural impact of competitive sports.The production capability of athletic talents is the professional advantages;the production capacity of academic study is the subject advantages, and thefunction to serve the community reflects the comprehensive advantages.Fourthly, on the basis of playing the advantages, to cultivate andenhance the core competitiveness of sports schools should further use thegathering core resources of sports schools to build the platform of scientificdevelopment, and to continuously highlight the integrated services, to laythe staff and academic foundation for sustainable development, to strengthenthe campus construction of competitive sports sprits and culture, to establisha scientific and effective management system so as to finally achieved theseamless connection of talents chain, subjects chain and services chain.On this basis, we propose recommendations for further development andresearch as below:Firstly, during the services towards competitive sports, sports schoolsare recommended to actively introduce engineering talents, strengthenresearch and development capabilities of the equipment and venues, whichshould become a new growth point of sports schools for the sustainable development.Secondly, it is proposed that people should put more sports researchinstitutes, ordinary sports colleges or sports departments as the researchobjects in future and tap their respective advantages, and also explore waysof their cooperation to make the due contribution for our competitive sports.
