Contemporary college students is China’s modernization construction recruits, is our nation and the future of the country and hope. They not only to a knowledge for the burden of the construction of national group, become a pillar of society, and should as a virtuous people become national model, thus strengthening the consciousness of citizen education college students in our country is particularly important. And to enhance students’ citizen consciousness education should not only pay attention to the traditional methods, also want to reference absorbing foreign experience practice, so for the college students’ education of civic consciousness comparative study. China and the United States citizen consciousness education for college students comparison is not only strengthen the cultural exchange between China and America, absorb college students in the United States citizenship education of excellent education results, also is the improvement and development of college students in our country citizen consciousness education is an important measure. By comparing the civil consciousness education mutual now the similarities and differences, and promote our country citizen consciousness education of excellent results, and finally enhance the international influence of the culture in China.This article from the basic connotation of the civil consciousness of comparison, the United States and China in the college students’ education of citizen consciousness theory, basic content and implementation method of the differences and similarities. According to our country’s current students’ citizen consciousness education present situation, to college students’ in our country citizen consciousness education existence question and the reason for analysis. Through the comparative study of the several aspects, and according to the American college students’ education of civic consciousness of advanced experience, positively seek for college students in our country citizen consciousness education countermeasures. Look for college students in our country citizen consciousness education ways and methods and establish the scientific, reasonable of college students’citizen consciousness training goal. Explore the significance of college students’ citizenship education principles and targeted planning college students’education content of civic consciousness; make great efforts to realize the college students’ education ways and methods of civic consciousness of innovation.This paper is divided into six parts; the thesis introduces an introduction of the value, the significance and the related theoretical preparations, then respectively with four chapters of the concrete, this paper first citizen consciousness education and university student’s chapter citizen consciousness education content. The second chapter that China and the United States citizen consciousness education of college students’theoretical basis and basic contents of the comparison, this paper expounds the civil consciousness education in college students’theoretical basis and basic content of both similarities and differences, the analysis of their produce different reasons. In the third chapter and the fourth chapter between Chinese and American college students are of civic consciousness education and the implementation method comparison, China and the United States citizen consciousness education college students and the advantages and disadvantages of comparison, this is the main body part of this paper, the two chapters of the content is also shows the college students’ education of civic consciousness and their characteristics and differences part of this chapter two of the specific analysis, used by the point and the writing methods, make the two more striking similarities and differences, for on sexual discusses the countermeasures to establish the theory basis. Chapter5namely the civil consciousness education comparison of the enlightenment of our country, this is the core part of this paper. The first three chapters of the project is the service for this chapter, this chapter is the theoretical basis and the basis of the conclusion. By the comparison of the first three chapters can induce the civil consciousness education their respective characteristics, advantages and disadvantages, and then put forward for reference in college students’ perfect American citizen consciousness education measures.
