The development of the society drives the talents flow. As a most important partof HR, English teachers flow among schools. However, currently teachers fluiditycommonly presents a phenomenon of single, blind and unordered. It is the negativefactor of educational resource, causing the Matthew Effect, making teacher resourcesunbalanced. Therefor, how to boost the rational fluidity of middle school Englishteachers and promote the balanced development of compulsory education is animportant task for English educators and education administrators. Former scholarsdid a great deal of work and made great contributions. But most of the former scholarsfocused on studying the whole phenomenon of all the subject teachers yet no detailsin the fluidity of different subject teachers at present. So it is necessary to have a try.Documentary analysis, interviewing and surveying are the main methods in his text tostudy the fluidity of English teachers from ordinary schools, Yuexiu District,Guangzhou city. Based on a great deal of investigation, interviewing and analysis, thecharacteristic of the fluidity of English teachers from ordinary schools of YuexiuDistrict, Guangzhou city is concluded: no obvious changes in quantity in recent years;Female English Teachers flow more; Younger teachers flow more; Teachers withprimary title flow more; Teachers with bachelor degree flow more; Flowing upwardmore. The reasons for the characters existing are as follows: higher pursuing inincomes, achieving individual’s ideals and teachers’ job burnout; teacher resourceshaving effects on schools’ evaluate, schools’ reputation and power of running a school;requiring of society development, goodish treatment for teachers in society;nonstandard management in educational administration. Putting forward rationalstrategies in promoting teachers’ fluidity: strengthening integrated establishment inteachers; setting up system of teachers’ fluidity; encouraging teachers to supportingeducation; perfecting teachers treatment and improving teachers status; increasinggovernment investment in unsubstantial areas, narrowing gap among schools;establishing the mechanism of process management, evaluation and reward forflowing teachers.
