As a high performance and high yield scale multi-national enterprise, company M has toensure the must value of employees’ training by the right track of training evaluation in suchsevere market. This thesis has a deep study of a good deal of domestic and foreign literatureson corporate training evaluation and then selects and summarizes some theories relevant tothis study. By conducting questionnaire surveys and interviews concerning the currentsituation of training evaluation in Company M, an analysis report on the main problems of thetraining evaluation system is obtained. Based on current training evaluation system whichconsists rudimentary formative assessment, this thesis proposes the improved trainingevaluation model which focus on feedback through the entire training evaluation system andprovide detailed strategies for each evaluation step. Finally, it goes on to check theacceptability and effectiveness of the improved training evaluation system in a certain trainingprogram of Company M.This thesis includes6parts on the main:Part1introduces the research’s meanings, methods, features and problems to be solvedby means of literature review.Part2clarifies basic concepts about corporate training evaluation, formative assessment,summarizes theories and models relevant to corporate training evaluation and sketches outvaluable theories of adult training and training principles.Part3tells the analysis results of the survey of the training evaluation situations inCompany M.Part4proposes the improved formative training evaluation model and three evaluationprocess flow circles separately before, between and after training. At first, each factor of themodel has been introduced and then detailed strategies of formative training evaluation havebeen shown in each phase.Part5exhibits the acceptability and effectiveness of the above improved design modeland flows by means of a training program specifically.Part6concludes the achievements, deficiency and limits of the study and indicates thestudy in the future.
