In recent years, Vocational college has been developing quickly in China, all kindsof vocational college have trained a large number of practical talents, have improvedthe technical structure of social labor and have provided the talent guarantee foreconomic and social development of China.The rapid development of colleges and Universities under the condition ofoccupation, enrollment has increased year by year, the chief problem faced is how tomanage students in scientific and effective way and provide favorable guarantee forthe healthy growth and development of students. Vocational college students’ learningfoundation is relatively thin, weariness is obvious, daily behavior is lazy and lack ofself-control ability and lack of confidence and action force. These problems affectedthe quality of personnel training in vocational college, restricted the development ofvocational college. So how to manage students is the key to accelerate students’success or not, it also determines the skill levels of workers in future society.In this paper, from the perspective of positive psychology through the literaturereview method, experience summary method, observation and other research methods,studied college students as the research object, researched the Heilongjiangpolytechnic as a case study, mainly carried out the following research:Introduced the selected background and research value of this paper, and reviewedthe domestic research, as to provide theoretical basis for research.Summarized the historical development of vocational student management workand function orientation.Systematically summed up the historical development of vocational studentmanagement work, definited the particularity of vocational student management andgenerality.This paper put forward the positive psychology perspective of vocational studentmanagement ideas and principles. From the perspective of positive psychology research, and raised the idea of vocational student management innovation, andstudents should follow the principle of management work.At the end of the paper, positive psychology oriented to heilongjiang vocationalcollege student management work in the concrete practice as an example, from buildthe culture atmosphere of all-round development of students, build the professionalcourses, construct platform for students’ comprehensive development. In this threeaspects, the author proposed the countermeasures of the management of students incolleges.
