Positive Psychology Mental Health Education Research In The View

It has been more than20years of the development of psychological healtheducation in Chinese colleges and universities since1980s, however, theprimary function still focuses on prevention and treatment of problem of minoritystudents, regardless of psychological development of major students. This is themost serious problem in psychological health education in Chinese colleges anduniversities at present. The essential function of psychological health educationshould facilitate and realize the psychological development of human beings,moreover, positive psychology could provide a great help in this side. This articletries to research the psychological healthy education of college students basedon the positive psychology theory, in order to improve the level of psychologicalhealth, provide the solid support of building a positive psychological healtheducation system, and new view of this work. The article consists of three parts,firstly, overview of positive psychology and psychological health education;secondly, research and analysis of current situation of psychological healtheducation in colleges; finally, inspiration and expectation from positivepsychology to psychological health education development.
