Poetry is the essence of Chinese traditional culture, classical poetry education is an important part of Chinese teaching in senior high school. To improve the students ability to appreciate poetry word has practical significance, it helps to form a high school student’s outlook on life, to help high school students aesthetic power, exercise help high school students language ability. However, unfortunately, there are many problems in the current high school Chinese classroom teaching:teachers, students learning attitude of utilitarianism; teaching and learning method is undeserved, the poor teaching effect; textbooks are insufficient and biased. The depth of the teaching of ancient poetry, including:(a) the return of traditional culture calls;(two) the requirements of the new curriculum reform;(three) the teaching of the ancient poems appeal.This paper is divided into four parts:A, the problem:it describes the research background; two, cultivate poetry appreciation ability of word meaning:high school emphasizes the cultivation of ancient poetry appreciation ability of high school students the meaning of word, which explains the meaning of appreciation of poetry, poetry appreciation ability, and the significance of cultivating the ability the appreciation of poetry; investigation and Reflection on the teaching of ancient poetry, three high school students were investigated:the current situation of middle school students’learning and teachers’teaching ancient poetry teaching, and reviews the current teaching content arrangement, and the corresponding theoretical analysis made in the foundation of investigation, providing theoretical and practical basis for solving the problem; four, focusing on practical and effective measures to improve the ability of appreciation of ancient poetry teaching in senior high school students included four aspects:attitude adjustment, improvement of teaching methods, reform teaching materials and teachers play a leading role in the teaching of Chinese poetry. The attitude adjustment includes: adjust the attitude of students and adjust the attitude of teachers; improve the teaching method include:strengthening the poetry reading, the effective use of multimedia technology, cooperative interaction between teachers and students; teachers play a leading role in the teaching of Chinese poetry include:enhance the noble personality charm, culture advance Humanities consciousness; the accumulation of professional knowledge, the formation of a strong humanities; the student Senate Democratic, interactive mode of teaching benefits teachers as well as students.This paper focus on the characteristics of the actual investigation, using the questionnaire survey and interview, discussion combination, on several major Anshan province Liaoning city high school and ordinary high school sample survey, the first hand materials, at the same time to comb through the existing materials, preparation of the status quo on textbooks. The highlight of this paper are embodied in two aspects: one is to explore the teaching method recommended by the experimental group cooperation effective practices, two are in the " play on Teachers’leading role " in the teaching of Chinese poetry, and advocates the use of teacher-student interactive strategy, teaching benefits teachers as well as students, for students of teachers scheme use for form to effectively enhance the leading role of the teacher in the teaching of Chinese poetry.
