Since the new curriculum reform, the ancient poetry as an important material to enhancestudents’ability to appreciate had got more and more researchers’ attention. The level of the highschool seniors about ancient poetry appreciation test not only for the new curriculum reform, andalso has practical significance for the college entrance examination review. The current situationinvestigations carried by the Ganzhou district high school seniors of the ancient poetryappreciation, to analyze the underlying causes, to understand the present situation about highschool seniors about ancient poetry appreciation, to establish the guideline in ancient poetryrevision period.This research framework of thesis constructs from the three parts of investigation, founding,and solution approach. It divided into the following aspects:The preamble of thesis consists of the reason of the choosing this topic, concept definition,research methods, research ideas, research tools, literature review. The first chapter introduces thepreparatory work of the investigation, such as the background of the investigation, survey design,and survey data processing.The second and third chapters are investigation and analysis about the Ganzhou district highschool seniors of ancient poetry appreciation. Methods applied the student questionnaires, teacherinterviews, student interviews and classroom observation. Through the use of SPSS for students’questionnaire results, the research can get the detail analysis from the basic information, overallcharacteristics, and group differences. Combined with questionnaire results, interviews andclassroom observation, the research can get analysis of the problems of the current situation andthe reasons for the formation.The fourth chapter is a suggestion of ancient poetry appreciation of Ganzhou district highschool seniors improvement strategies based on the findings and reflections from both teachersand students.
