With the promotion of new curriculum reform and the rapid development of modern information technology(MIT), developing the study of classroom teaching model under the information technology environment, integrating effective study of MIT and subject teaching, and integrating MIT into subject classroom teaching are of critical necessary and in time. According to the practical situation of English teaching in the rural middle school, integrated with the reality of current English subject teaching in our country, we should process reformation to the English teaching activity in the rural middle school and investigate the effective integration of MIT and English teaching in the rural middle school. All of these investigations and methods are of critical necessary and in time to improve the English learning efficiency of the rural pupils.Studies of integration of MIT and Middle English Teaching are undertaken according to taking MIT as systematic tool. It’s on basis of Theory including:Humanism Theory Learning Theory of Constructivism, Characteristics&law of somatopsychic development of school child.The gist of the studies if to change the traditional structure of teaching, that is, to change the structure of "teacher-centered teaching replace with the new structure of exerting teacher’s dominant role and radiating students principal part.In this case, the teaching content teacher and students’ role, role of media need to be changed accordingly.Integration of MIT and Middle English Teaching is a complicated system. Specifically,5fundamental of Middle English Teaching includes:teacher, students, teaching content, teaching method and teaching environment. So the gist of the integration of MIT and these5fundamental. It should follow the Principles of Principle part of teaching, mutual activity, Media preferred, Method complementary and Overall implementation. On these bases, the studies point out the specific matters existing in the integration.Integration of MIT and Middle English Teaching is to link both judiciously to be integrated method; to use MIT as basic fundamental in teaching to change the traditional teaching and learning mode. The new learning molds:"Inquiry Learning" and "Cooperative learning" which to highlight the principal part of students worth researching and exploring mostly. They can help improve comprehensive English Skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing of the students and provide powerful learning support.Integration of MIT and Middle English Teaching will be beneficial to foster students’ learning capability, setting up an optimized study environment, expend teaching resources, stimulate students’interest of learning and enhance teaching efficiency.Based on the above theoretical analysis, this article analyzes the reasons for the difficulties in learning English in the rural students in Harbin. And also expounds the practical significance of the improving of the standard of English teaching with the Integration of MIT and Middle English Teaching in the rural students in Harbin, so that the value of this research has nourished the soil of reality.
