"Jian Hua Hua":the Localization Practice Of Group Work In Children Growth

Abstract:As our country has the most number of children in the world, growing up healthy and sound for children relates to our national and nationality’s future. As our country in the social transitional period now, some of the children encountered varying degrees of problems in the process of their growth. Social work intervention in children’s growth can play its unique professional strengths.This paper chooses the group of "Jian Hua Hua" as the object. Also apply the method of group work, theory of group dynamics and personality development to service the children from community B who aged8-12. First, by forecast, planning, executing of the whole process with recording and analysis, the implementation and specification of children group work in our country are be discussed. And also the goal, communication code, group dynamics, members’growth are be evaluated and reflected. Secondly, found that "Jian Hua Hua" make the members developed new interests and hobbies, the good quality of unity, positive, helping each other, and the ability of learning and life. Which improve their common problem of single amateur life, lack of overall growth that before they came into the group. Finally, the localization practice of group work in children growth is discussed. We need to attach importance to the urgency of promoting professional social work intervention to the children’s growth and the importance of social work practice and research. That also require emphasize the necessity of social work service on the migrant, left-behind children and pay attention to promote the advanced experience of social work practice in a timely manner.
