At present, China’s national defense education in terms of history carried out by, or from the courses self-construction of view, and traditional college courses in comparison, in the course objectives set, the choice of curriculum content, curriculum implementation and evaluation, curriculum resource development, etc. there are many gaps. In particular, is very limited research on the development of the National Defense Education curriculum resources, a direct impact on national defense education courses to promote and practice effectiveness.Through in-depth analysis of the status of the National Defense Education curriculum resource development, the factors restricting the National Defense Education curriculum resource development: fragmented management, value orientation over a single resource development narcissistic. To promote the effective development of the National Defense Education curriculum resources, articles should follow the open economy, the principle of personalization, select the main development of teachers, development of student body a variety of modes, resource investigations, resource analysis, curriculum resources management database channels such as the gradual establishment of the National Defense Education curriculum resource development mechanism. At the same time to guarantee the effective development requires a series of safeguards conditions.
