Socialism with Chinese Characteristics Common Ideal, proposed in Sixth Plenum of the16th CPC Central Committee, is one of socialist core values system, which has the core position in all socialist core values system. College students are the future of our country and society beams development, are the builder and successor of socialism with Chinese characteristics. It is because of college students is the role of this important "character" in the national and social development, in that setting up the common ideal of socialism with Chinese characteristics is great important. In the college, art college students are an important part. College students’ reorganization to common ideal is in relation to their healthy growth of the future. So, how to strengthen art college students’ common ideal is very important in ideological and political education in college.Firstly, this article discusses the background and significance of this topic.
