Nowadays, the reform of Chinese school education takes the connotation of development road. Meanwhile, the thoughts that is to create Characteristic School, strong school characteristics, features Hing school education is rising.2010"Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan" clearly brought:Focus on education content development, encouraging Characteristic School, do a high level, cultivate excellent teacher, educate outstanding students. It can be said, creating Characteristic School is to promote quality education, to promote the overall development of students personality development and the inevitable requirement, but also changed the country schooling has long been "one thousand schools with the same appearance","ten thousands people with the similar looking" of the situation.However, the creation of Characteristic schools need to take an intensive development, which rely on schools to implement conscious, self-reform, exploit development potentialities, reasonable and fully utilize and develop the school’s existing resources and ultimately the formation of Characteristic schools. Characteristic schools need long-term educational process, after a long-term systematic holistic scientific planning and design, and create favorable development of students ’personality diversity education environment, to achieve the development of the students’ characteristics and form their own characteristics, distinctive style and overall educational school personality. The school has unique characteristics, quality, integrity and stability characteristics and so on.The creation of Characteristic schools is not only benefit to the social demand for quality education, but also enhance our quality education. Therefore, creating Characteristic schools in this situation which is the country’s limited investment in education add up more quality educational resources to meet the social demand for education. Otherwise, Characteristic schools provide quality education not only in the quality of teaching and educational results and other aspects of "excellent", but also provide " Characteristic " that is diverse education to meet the different regions, different environments’student’s interests, strengths and potential needs, expertise in the students are able to choose their favorite school.Based on Zhongshan S Characteristic school during a decade creation history case to study and analysis, highlighting the combination of the theoretical research and empirical, to create Characteristic schools’ history as the starting point, from a longitudinal analysis of the structure of S-depth summary of the main characteristics of the school to study the each creation stage and achievements and to analysis effectiveness of S school Characteristic schools’ creation. Base on S School’s practical course about a decade creation for Characteristics school, reflection from the characteristics of the school recognizes the school’s practice of building characteristics positioning. How to obtain social benefits? How to assess and promotion? To analysis coordination of the school’s construction and development and the external factors of conditions for school research, so that the internal development and external developments can linked with each other, meanwhile, to have more depth thinking in three aspects that is the characteristics of the school’s design and construction (schools), striving for social benefits (off-campus) and evaluation and promotion (external link).
