It is time to change. It is a urgent and necessary task for us to change the educational situation in China and to establishing a new teaching model which aims at making students as the centered for stimulating students’ interests in learning and improving their ability in self-reserving. For finding a best teaching model in the Classroom teaching revolution, we made some research and experiments in how to achieve effective classroom teaching.This thesis is divided into six parts. The first part mainly presents the researching background and discusses some basic ideas of effective teaching and the origin of the concept. Furthermore, this part also analyses of the implementation of effective teaching and introduces the necessity and the model of this research project. The second part reviews some theoretical foundation, which includes constructivism, educational statistics, psychology and pedagogy theory. The third part discusses how to applicate the effective teaching in physics classroom teaching and how to approach the effective teaching in classroom. The fourth part is mainly on the application and practices of effective teaching in senior high school physics teaching, and analyses the implementation of effective teaching model in Physics Teaching and how do this teaching model can help students to improve their ability in physics. The fifth part gives several examples about effective teaching in classroom. The sixth part makes a brief summarize on effective teaching and points out some problems and the direction of our efforts.
