Application Of Performance Technology In The Education Of The Blind

As a systematic method committed to improving organization and individual performance, performance technology has received the widespread concern and attention not only from business but also from education and the field of educational technology in recent years. It is the concept absorbed corporate training, programmed instruction and instructional design which formed in the process of improving business performance gradually. By using systematic methods of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation, it can improve individual and organizational work performance for research and practice areas. In recent years, special education teaching problem such as the blind education is getting more and more people’s attention. With the economic development and the attention from Chinese government, the blind education is developing faster and faster. Consequently, the traditional teaching mode and teaching methods obviously can not meet this growth rate. At the same time, because of Chinese Medical Licensing Examination for the Blind, it brings the opportunity to the reform of the blind teaching. In the blind medical massage industry, the authority of blind doctor qualification certificate is gradually accepted by majority practitioners and patients. Therefore, it will be the new challenge for the blind massage major in education special education schools to improve the performance of blind education. To introduce performance technology into the education of the blind and to be integrated and improved, it will be helpful to solve the problems of it and promote the education teaching performance. As the education for the blind develops, it is no doubt that we must focus on performance. Moreover, we must consider how to apply a variety of experiences and practices in the enterprise education for the blind, in order to reduce the educational and teaching cost and improve education and teaching performance.Above all, the application of performance technology in education field which is researched in this thesis refers to it exactly. It emphasizes to study non-teaching factors that impact the teaching activities from a performance perspective. As a result, we can sum up the index system of evaluating education performance and build an educational performance improvement model in order to overcome the limitation of the previous instructional design method. Then we can discover the causes of teaching performance problems at a deeper level. The fundament of education performance is the people involved in education activity and the main parties of teaching activities are teachers and students. Based on the current situation and existing problems in blind education, the thesis comes up with thoughts and ideas that integrates performance technology and takes full advantage to enhance the education performance, advance the quality of the education for the blind and change the teaching methods. The idea has practical significance for the reform of the education and the resolution of factual teaching issues. The article is based on the above to reflect the application value of the performance technology in the TCM theory teaching of the blind massage course. And the author hopes that the application of performance technology in education for the blind can get essential development.
