Ideological and Political Theory Course bears the task of the education of Marxist theoryfor college students, it is the main channel of the ideological and political education forcollege students. Ideological and political theory course plays an important role in guiding thestudents’ firm belief in socialism and Marxism, enhancing the reform and opening up andsocialist modernization confidence. Any practical activities inherently contain effectiveness,and the domination of the utility-scale, practical activities of the people demonstrates thepositive characteristics in meeting human needs and corresponding human purposes, itconstitutes the effectiveness of practical activities. The effectiveness of the teaching ofideological and political theory has become the starting point and destination of theIdeological and Political Theory Teaching as a practice. The level of effectiveness is animportant symbol of the quality and level of ideological and political theory teaching, it hasalso become important yardstick for the degree of realization of the purpose of inspectionIdeological and Political Theory Course teaching. The Ideological and Political TheoryCourse teaching will lose its value and significance without the effectiveness. Improving theeffectiveness of Ideological and Political Theory Teaching is an issue which is often requiredand often on the new. The effectiveness of Ideological and Political Theory Course teaching isthe need to strengthen and improve the ideological and political education and collegiatequality education, but also the need to implement the Party’s education policy. Facing thechanges of environment at home and abroad, despite the Ideological and Political TheoryTeaching has made some successes, but it cannot fully meet the requirements of the newsituation, the effectiveness of the Ideological and Political Theory Course teaching need to befurther improved. Improving the effectiveness of the Ideological and Political TheoryTeaching is a practical problem that both ideological and political workers and the majority ofthe Ideological and Political Theory Course face, also a theoretical issues and practical issuethat many experts and scholars need continue to explore.The paper earnestly learns from the existing ideological and political theory teaching research, and further definite the content of the effectiveness of Ideological and PoliticalTheory Teaching, and analysis the complex environment that the Ideological and PoliticalTheory Teaching faces. Surveying and analyzing the situation of the Ideological and PoliticalTheory Teaching after "05Project" was implemented, identifying the problem and confusionthat the current Ideological and Political Theory Teaching face, and exploring the specificpath to improve the effectiveness of Ideological and Political Theory Teaching.The paper is divided into four parts: the first part, the connotation of the effectiveness ofIdeological and Political Theory Teaching and special performance is further defined on thebasis of analysis of the nature of the Ideological and Political Theory courses, and clarify thesignificance to improve the effectiveness of the Ideological and Political Theory Teaching.The second part analyzes the factor which affects the effectiveness of the Ideological andPolitical Theory Teaching, examine the reality of the external environment that Ideologicaland Political Theory Teaching faces, analyze the opportunities and challenges Ideological andPolitical Theory Teaching faces. it also analyze the teachers of Ideological and PoliticalTheory Teaching, teaching objects, teaching methods, teaching content and their relationship,and draws the conclusions that effectiveness of Ideological and Political Theory Teaching isaffect by its internal elements of the system. The third part examines the current status ofIdeological and Political Theory Teaching, and explores the related issues of Ideological andPolitical Theory Teaching at this stage. The fourth part discovers the specific measures toimprove the effectiveness of Ideological and Political Theory Teaching. This part is the key ofthe article; it respectively puts forward corresponding countermeasures from three aspects ofthe teachers, teaching methods, teaching evaluation method focusing on the problems forIdeological and Political Theory Teaching at this stage.
