The 19 th People's Congress of the Communist Party of China made clear that "A nation will prosper only when it 's young people thrive.If the young generation has the ideal,the ability and the responsibility,There is a big future for the country,and a big hope for the nation." The development of era has made the youth have a new mission.In order to achieve the goal of socialist modernization,China needs countless young people to strive for it.At the same time,the party 's educational policy also clearly pointed out that we should adhere to education to serve the socialist modernization,serve the people,take the thought of strengthening moral education and cultivating people as the fundamental task of education,implement quality education in an all-round way,train socialist builders and successors of the all-round development of morality,intelligence physique and aesthetic,and try to make good education for the people.Therefore,the development of moral education in universities needs continuous reform and innovation to adapt to the rapid development of the economy and society,making college students become the new force to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and shoulder the hopes of the country and the nation.The economic globalization makes the communication between countries more frequent,and education is the priority of the country which is highly valued by every country.Therefore,the development of education can not be carried out only on its own an acre of land.In order to make education sustainable,we must gather the best of the nations based on the reality of the cou ntry.The United States,as the largest developed country,has its own experience in education,and has many successes in the way of moral education.Therefore,a comparative study of the methods of moral education between Chinese and American universities is of great significance for the development of moral education in universities in China.The social system of China and the United States are different,but there is similar cognition in the importance of moral education in universities and differences in the ch oice of moral education methods.Through the comparison and analysis between the two,based on the actual situation of Chinese universities,this paper aims at clarifying the important reference for improving the moral education of universities in our country.We should attach importance to the role of the humanistic environment,cultivate the students ' national spirit,construct the subjective moral education method,adhere to the students as the center,improve the actual effect of the practice method,cultivate t he students' moral cognitive ability,carry out the work of psychological consultation,cultivate the healthy personality of the students,we should optimize the explicit moral education method and strengthen the construction of implicit moral education.In or der to realize the further development of the moral education in Chinese universities,the actual effect of moral education is exerting to the greatest extent,and the foundation for the cultivation of the socialist builders and successors in the new era is laid.In view of this,this article is divided into five parts to carry out the study.The first chapter,introduction,focuses on the research background,the present situation at home and abroad,the research methods and the innovation points and so on.The second chapter mainly analyzes the related concept and theoretical of moral education methods,and understands the relevant theoretical knowledge of moral education,and divides the related concepts,contents and the basic principles of comparison between Chinese and American moral education methods.It laid the theoretical foundation for the following research.The third chapter analyzes main methods of moral education in China and the United States,learns the details of the two countries' moral education methods;The fourth chapter,comparing the similarities and differences of moral education in universities in China and America,analyses the same and different points between the two parties;The fifth chapter,through the comparison of the methods of moral education between China and the United States,draws the enlightenment to the moral education in Chinese universities.Through the research and summary of these contents,we hope to provide some new suggestions for the methods of moral education in Chinese colleges and universities.
