The teachers play the most important role in the development of the secondary vocational school, with the increasing demand of teachers "specialization", the way and method to cultivate specialization of teachers in vocational education also gradually highlights the important position. The school-based training is a means of training vocational teachers, its characteristic advantages have become an important channel in the process of teachers’growth. School-based training is carried out" based on the school, to school, in school", it is based on the actual situation of school development and has strong target. It has the characteristics of being comprehensive, randomness, accidental, daily, complexity, and diversity, it is a process of the combination of comprehensive resources in school. In the process of school-based training, teachers’ participation and the effect of the school-based training itself directly affects the action of school-based training.This research is based on ChenZhou A Vocational School and GuangZhou A Vestibule School. It has a deep research.From the data collection of ChenZhou A Vocational School, it summarizes the existing problems from the school-based training content, methods, trainers etc, and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures for reference. With the typical cases of GuangZhou A Vestibule School, it summarizes its experience and set it as a successful model in secondary vocational schools’school-based training.The research indicates that in order to make school-based training to play a more active role, it should have enough attention in the ideological concept, have a reasonable arrangement in the hardware aspect, improve the mechanism of school-based training management, adhere to a characteristic road of school-based training, to enrich the content of the school-based training, highlight the characteristics of "jobs" and "vocational education" of school-based training etc, to promote the teachers a better professional development.
