Since the mid-1990’s,with the further development of market economy and the gradual establishment of modern enterprise system, the problem about women’s unemployment and laid-off in city is increasingly serious. To solve the women’s under-employment and the survival of laid-off women, the informal employment, such as the employment in community, the employment in miniature enterprise and self-employment, is of great significance. But in the developmental process, women’s informal employment emerges worrying problems. This thesis takes the women’s informal employment in community as the object of study. Only strengthen the study of these problems, the society can promote the harmonious and healthy development of women’s informal employment.The research object of the thesis is women’s employment in community, employment in community refers that the community explores its own resources, to offer the residents in community material and cultural products and services, and creates job post and provides employment opportunities in the process, finally achieve the aims——the mutual promotion between service and employment. The employment in community mainly includes four categories:the convenience service, community in-home service, community public-welfare services and community management service. The thesis obtains data through questionnaire survey and case interview, there are some problems in Fuzhou women’s employment in community, such as low wages, low social security, weak rights-protection consciousness, instability employment, weak self-employment consciousness, etc. Secondly, in view of the characteristics of Fuzhou women’s employment in community, the thesis analyses and explores the reasons for that from the state, society, community and women themselves. Finally, considering the problems about Fuzhou women’s employment in community, the thesis explores solutions in all directions.
