Exploration On The Involvement Of Community Work In The Practice Of Informal Employment Of The Disabled

It is an indisputable fact that the employment of the disabled is difficult.In the context of the grim overall employment situation,it is an important issue worthy of attention to expand the employment channels and innovate the employment of the disabled to actively develop the informal employment of the disabled.Taking the “dream building and soaring” disability assistance project undertaken by L social work service center as an example,this study aims to explore the compatibility of community work methods in promoting the informal employment of the disabled from a practical perspective,with the advantage perspective theory and social support theory as the analytical framework.Firstly,the employment status of the disabled in Z community was comprehensively investigated,and the employment problems,employment influencing factors and employment demands of the disabled in Z community were analyzed and estimated.Secondly,25 disabled people with employment intention were selected as the service objects of this study,the needs of the service objects were evaluated,the service objectives were determined,and the community service program was designed.The practical work has carried out a variety of activities,such as employment assistance cases,employment mutual aid groups,volunteer pairs and community employment fairs for the disabled.In the stage of effect consolidation,a community employment support team was established to ensure the sustainability of resources after the completion of the project.10 disabled people were successfully helped to achieve informal employment,and the service was evaluated to achieve certain results.Finally,based on the exploration and practice of “building dreams to fly” project,this paper summarizes the experience accumulated in the community practice work,reflects on the deficiencies in the project,and puts forward the preliminary countermeasures and Suggestions.The preliminary conclusion of this study is that community work has a good applicability for promoting the realization of informal employment of the disabled in the community.In carrying out community work,the will of the client is fully respected;Plan adjustment based on individual demand difference;Invest a lot of time and patience in early advocacy;Making full use of the available resources of the community;Extensive links to social resources;It is very important for the community work to realize good service effect,especially to explore the inherent advantage resources of the disabled.
