The Research Of Rural Grassroots Contradiction On The Perspective Of Social Identity

At present, our country is in a critical period of social transformation and institution transition. The adjustment of interest structure and change of social differentiation make social contradictions become prominent, especially the social grassroots contradictions. Currently, the sociological field at home and abroad mainly studies the social grassroots contradictions from the perspective of substantial interests and resource distribution, and very few researches studies the issue from the perspective of social identity. Social transformation as a kind of comprehensive social change has a very intensive relevant area. Social transformation is neither just about the systematic transformation of economy, nor just about the constructive transformation of society, nor just about the model transformation of culture. The Social transformation also manifests in the transformative adaption of social members and the change of social identity. Social identity is a very important basic variable that influences social order, and it will change with the conversion of situation. Social identity influences social order through giving social individual a sense of social belonging, and this sense of social belonging has an essential function in the process of influence.The research methods of this study mainly include literature research, questionnaire investigation, and interview and case analysis method. This study, referring to the research fruits of predecessors, applies the social identity theory into analyzing the issue of rural grassroots contradictions on the basis of analyzing the feasibility of studying the rural grass-roots contradiction from the perspective of social identity. And from this perspective, it explores the reasonable path of solving rural grassroots contradictions, hoping to contribute to the study of grassroots contradictions. Firstly, through consulting related literature both in national and in foreign, understand the current situation of researches of rural grassroots contradiction, and find out a breakthrough point. Then, through the comparative analysis of the development process in history and current situation of relationship between social identity and rural grassroots contradiction problems, we find that the occurrence and intension of contradiction is not induced directly by differentiation of interests. There is a variable between differentiation of interests and contradiction, which is social identity. The differentiation of interests brings the differentiation of social identity and the differentiation of social identity to some degree intensifies the differentiation of interests that make the differentiation of social identity more prominent. Under this discovery and with the help of the rural research data and interview information from my tutor professor Fanhesheng’s country social science fund project political sociological research of grassroots social contradictions’ evolution and dissolving mechanism, this study does some empirical analysis and case analysis. Finally, this study gives some rational suggestions about the solution of rural grassroots contradiction. It finds that the interest identity crisis, system identity crisis and social relationship identity crisis are the main causes that sharpen the contradiction, of which interest identity crisis is the root cause. Finally, on the basis of referring to studies of predecessors, this study promotes the integration of social identity from the aspects of social security, social organization and the meaning symbol system and puts forward reasonable suggestions on resolving grass-roots contradictions.
