It shows that outdoor activities are of great value to the physical and mental development of young children. what’s more, A number of educational theories confirm the importance of outdoor activities. In fact, due to the impact of various subjective and objective factors, some kindergartens are unwilling to carry out outdoor activities. In the end what the strengths and weaknesses exist in outdoor activities’organization? what strategy should be taken to improve the quality of outdoor activities? From the perspective of of physical and mental development, the top of class is best in the kindergarten. So the quality of the top class can represent the highest level of outdoor activities organization in the Kindergarten. So this paper is based on a case study of the top class in a kindergarten to analyze the organizations of outdoor activity.This thesis is divided into five parts:The first part is an introduction. First of all, This section introduces the reason of topic and analysis of related researches on outdoor activities, it defines related concepts. This section describes the purpose of the study, research methods and processes.The second part is an overview of the kindergarten outdoor activities. This section elaborates the classification of outdoor activities, the significance of outdoor activities, and the related theories about outdoor activities.The third part is the empirical research. To strive to more fully reveal the current situation of activities organization, This part is focused on the case of a city nursery with the use of relevant testing tools. The basic situation outdoor activities includes time, material, space, type of outdoor activities and performance of children.The fourth part is the reflection of outdoor activities organization. According to the survey, it is found the contradiction between needs of young children and the a shortage of resources for the outdoor activities in kindergartens, the inconsistency of principals and teachers’educational ideas and educational deeds, the misunderstanding of parents on outdoor activities and urban poor environment.The fifth part puts forward countermeasures and suggestions. So some suggestions are put forward as follo wings:increasing capital investment; providing sufficient material fo outdoor activities; building outdoor area management system and evaluation system of outdoor activities; making the development of outdoor activities manual; Enhancing teachers’ ability to organize outdoor activities; helping parents form correct view on outdoor play by communicating with them.
