Design Of Geographical Inquiring Experiments In Middle School Under The Guidance Of The New Curriculum

It is a significant part of the cultivation of innovative spirit and practical ability to fully advance. As an important teaching method and practice, geography experimental teaching can effectively change the traditional teaching method. Ministry of Education promulgated the "Compulsory Education Geography Standards (2003Edition)",which presents specific requirements in the basic concepts, course objectives, content standards and other aspects of the geography experimental teaching, as well as provides a theory of research value and practical guidance for the research of inquiry experimental teaching in middle school. At present, the long-term China’s exam oriented education malpractice and under the influence of the ignorance of Geography Inquiry teaching, there still exists many difficulties in geography inquiry teaching.Under the guidance of the new curriculum, the paper classifies statistical experiment project in middle school textbooks experimental projects, and according to the specific types design typical experimental case. By applying the method of teaching experiment, the author carried out the practical research for the middle school geography inquiry experiments, the results obtained are as follows:(1) By the geography experimental teaching, it can change the traditional geography teaching mode and effectively improve the teaching of geography.(2) By the geography experimental teaching, students have a strong interest in geography, that improve their autonomous learning desire of geography.(3) By the geography experimental teaching, it can enhance the autonomy of students and cultivate their innovative spirit and practical ability through gather information, materials, design experiments, make the experimental model, form and writing experiment reports and papers.(4) By the geography experimental teaching, it is conducive to established a new relationship between teachers and students.
