"General High School Ideological and Political Course Standard (Experiment)" emphasizes that high school ideological and political course should enhance the practicality and exploration of curriculum implementation, for the purpose of further enriching teaching content and changing teaching and learning methods and promoting students’ active development. Practical teaching focuses on strengthening students’ practical knowledge and cultivating students’ practical personality by employing practical methods. In the process of practical teaching, the teacher should conform to the teaching objectives and requirements while taking account of students’ cognitive characteristics and existing knowledge and life experience, and then design some specific teaching situation to make the students gain personal perception and experience and achieve independent construction of knowledge and improve their practical ability through hands-on practice. Continuously analyzing and summarizing of the experience and problems and solutions of teaching practice is of important theoretical and practical significance in further strengthening and improving the teaching practice of high school ideological and political course.This thesis firstly defined the concepts related to teaching practice of high school ideological and political course, and then analyzed the necessity of such teaching practice. It was considered that such teaching practice conformed to the teaching materials and the basic requirement of new curriculum reform, and helped to improve the effectiveness of the course. Based on this, this thesis mainly analyzed the main problems of teaching practice in high school ideological and political course. By employing a variety of methods such as empirical investigation, it has been found that these problems mainly existed in teachers’ understanding of practical teaching, the content and method of practical teaching and the relevant assurance condition and evaluation of practical teaching. According to those five aspects, this thesis has put forward five solutions, namely, improving teachers’understanding of practical teaching, strengthening teaching practice and enriching teaching content, realizing the diversification of practical teaching methods, providing sufficient assurance conditions forpractical teaching and establishing reasonable evaluation system.
