Art Education advocates to develop understanding, expression andcommunication ability through the art knowledge and skills of learning,guide them to take the initiative to art and life in all kinds of visualimage perception and interpretation. The fine arts education to improvechildren’s personality, plays an important role in guiding the developmentof intelligence, and promote the all-round development of people. Sinceancient times, art in various fields of human life, art interpretation ofthe play a decisive role role has been the history of human survival anddevelopment in the. Today, the development of art education in the qualityeducation of wide wave has become more prominent in the whole society, peoplepay more and more attention for its importance in the pursuit of materialeconomy at the same time. With the improvement of living standards, materialcivilization and spiritual civilization, the development of art educationhas entered the diversification, deep, three-dimensional era.Children’s art education is a kind of traditional art education,training children to primary stage art aesthetic, reading and writingabilities, the main exercise is the coordinated development of children’svisual perception, and the ability to operate. Thus, children’s arteducation is a kind of " special education " which including Practical、emotion and innovation. In recent years, the situation of children’s arteducation existing gradually by the teachers, parents and social concern.Since the reform and opening up, the new education idea and thought toflourish, but the old education concept is still ingrained in educationbehavior of negative effect of family or school. In today’s society, suchas money, materialistic thought with all walks of life. The influence ofunhealthy social atmosphere makes art education in a certain extent or degreeof utilitarianism, interest, a lot of people or institutions at the expenseof children’s nature and character orientation as the price, the blindpursuit of rapid culture education, the preschool education mode inmisunderstanding, that gave birth to the fast food "Art","genius","a childprodigy" strange like, seriously affecting the children’s physical andmental health. Children and adult values were in the distorted or cloudy.In the wrong direction, art is just stepped achievement wealth. The blindpursuit of "Engineering","face" works of art is actually to the value ofthe art works themselves cover and soul killing. So, children’s childhoodand the art yearning will also be on fire.Limitations of social reform and based on historical development,children’s art education is still at the lower stage. Compared to theprevious, children’s art education has made progress and effectiveness of the larger, but the concept and mode is still confined to the traditionalthinking, not exposed or in need of reform issues still need to be long-termexploration and improvement. Compared with the western art education ofchildren’s art education, the weak foundation of our country, there is nosystem or system of teaching materials and theory, especially in the remoteareas of the Midwest, the children art education is almost blank. Therefore,attention to children’s art education, to enlightenment, to let childrenart back to life is a way of education.Affected by environmental and artificial factors in society,children’s art education reform system has a long way to go, for manyeducators is to explore and challenge. This paper is based on the analysisand study of the status of domestic and international children’s arteducation, to explore and analyze the characteristics and difficulties ofchildren’s art education; based on the characteristics and the developmentof children’s art education in our country, put forward their own innovation,aims to establish a good, efficient, suitable for the characteristics ofour culture and education of the children’s art the educational idea andpattern.
