Teaching content of middle school Chinese has experienced many times of changeinclude grammar teaching. Because of the character of grammar is baldness and obscure, sothat teachers teach hard and students study tired. But in our current situation of entranceexamination for secondary school and the university entrance exam, the proportion ofgrammar is not too much so that teachers don’t like to teach and either to students. Theconclusion is grammar teaching become more and more “desalt”. Through comparing withforeign language teaching research and survey of some literature, we found that grammarteaching research is significant. From the history of Chinese grammar, language practice ofChinese grammar study has a strong guiding significance, and promote the Chinese languageteaching. Through the efforts of several generation, we research the results of Chinesegrammar. It is crystallization of grammatical researchers. And these theoretical achievementsof the Chinese language practice, especially for middle school Chinese teaching and learninghas played an important role. Mother tongue is a root of national culture, is a reflection of anational culture and spirit. And grammar is the soul skeleton of mother tongue, the cultureinheritance of mother tongue needs grammar. It is the standard of the culture of nativelanguage. And it can develop lifelong learning of students, to improve the level of Chineseaccomplishment. As for the test, grammar is the importance of language knowledge, skills. Sowe need pay attention to grammar teaching of Chinese language teaching in secondary, notblindly fade out, slam the door, some practical and effective countermeasures should be takenfor grammar teaching. And we should be take some practical and effective countermeasuresfor grammar teaching.
