Grammar is the basic laws of language organization,which is important for a learner to grasp.Grammar teaching is an effective and systematic way to learn grammar.Nevertheless,based on curriculum criterion and teaching materials,Chinese grammar teaching has been ignored in daily learning by both teachers and students,which is a commonly seen phenomenon.Objectively,this kind of method saves the curriculum resources,but we should admit that it is unreasonable.In fact,the effects of Chinese teaching have been weakened instead of having been strengthened and also the Chinese studying ability of students has been reduced instead of having been increased.From a long term point of view,the excellent language and characters of the Chinese nation will not develop healthily.In order to enhance the learning ability of students,and to increase the level of Chinese of the whole nation,students are supposed to learn Chinese grammar from now on;in order to ensure our national excellent language can be inherited and grow its vitality,we ought to pay more attention to grammar right now.As a teacher from classrooms,the writer's own experience helps her deeply hold that it is important and necessary to focus on grammar teaching in middle school.Meanwhile the writer is also worried about the ignorance of grammar teaching.With the full implementation of the new curriculum,teaching should be anchored in the idea of new curriculum standard and requirement and should be based on teaching practice.Connecting with the actual teaching cases,the article talks about the necessity of grammar teaching in middle school,analyses the present situation of grammar teaching in middle school,and puts forward the solutions to the problem.The article can be divided into four parts.The first part is about grammar knowledge and Chinese learning.This part focuses on the necessity of grammar teaching after new curriculum reform,which includes the supporting role of grammar to the language studying,the formation of Chinese core literacy and the ability increasing of language usage.And also this part analyses that grammar knowledge plays an important role in daily teaching procedures,which include Chinese root and usage,reading comprehension,writing practice,language communication.The second part is about analysis of present situation of Chinese teaching in middle school.The findings include the fault in grammar teaching cohesion between junior middle school and senior middle school,students"weariness of grammar learning and teacher's weariness of grammar teaching,the boring grammar teaching method,the lack of students" grammar knowledge,and low Chinese learning ability,etc.The third part is about problem analysis basing on investigation.The findings are as follows,problems exist in the arrangement of grammatical parts in textbooks;Entrance examination system affects the enthusiasm of teachers and students in teaching and learning;The teaching plan and teaching schedule restrict the time input of grammar teaching;Some Chinese teachers lack of grammar knowledge,etc.The fourth part is about countermeasures of senior high school grammar teaching after the new curriculum reform.This part is about the teaching promotion strategy for the problems existing in grammar teaching in Senior High School.First,the writer focuses on transforming the teacher and students" utilitarian and narrow thoughts,which regard examination as the terminal goal.Second,the writer wants to present solutions to the problems in teaching materials,such as ignore of the law and cohesion,laying too much stress on theories,and paying no attention on practical usage.Last,the writer abandons traditional teaching methods of still knowledge teaching,and finds some effective ways to match the students' learning ability.The writer lays emphasis on practical usage,teaches grammar and at the same time,focuses on training students' grammar ability,combines linguistic learning with stimulating activities to create the best learning atmosphere,and stimulates students' learning motivation.
