As the economy of China dramatically develops and the economic reformation proceeds more thoroughly, children migration has been an important part of the population migration in China and their living condition has attracted most people’s attention. Chinese government has tried its best to protect the migrating children’s benefit from the legal point of view; however, as the children relocate with their parents, many mental problems will occur as the environment changes especially for the lack of confidence. Nowadays, the researches have been done in China to help these children build up their confidence are mainly in two practical ways:educational and psychological; the results are mainly descriptive and suggestive, which are not practically operational. Therefore, it is very urgent to find a scientifically practical method to help the migrating children build up their confidence.In this article, the migrating children in Qingdao CQL elementary school are selected as the research objects; based on the demand of the research objects, some group activities based on the theme of building up the objects’confidence have been performed using some professional theories, methods, modes and techniques obtained from the social work done by the community; the specific services and results have been recorded in the reports.Eventually, based on the performance and feedback of each member in the group, compared with the traditional confidence build up system for the migrating children, the work in groups can get rid of the constrain caused by the traditional didactic education and can make the solution for each individual group member based on each member’s specific need; this method emphasizes the participation of each group member and then promotes each group member reform his self reorganization, therefore, improve his confidence more effectively.
