| With the rapid development of social economy and the acceleration of urbanization,a large number of migrant workers have flooded into cities, and the number of children who follow their parents to cities, namely, migrant children,is also increasing. The survey shows that the floating children are basically in primary school, and their physical and mental development is not mature.Faced with the sudden separation from the familiar environment, relatives and friends, and then entering an unfamiliar environment,it is inevitable that the floating children will have a negative impact on their own psychology and behavior. All these will greatly test the psychological quality and adaptability of children.Children with high psychological quality will quickly integrate into the unfamiliar environment and adapt to the new life. However, according to the survey and research, most of the migrant children’s psychological quality and adaptability are not high. After entering an unfamiliar environment, they will suffer from inferiority, anxiety, timidity and refusal to communicate with others, which will lead to problems in life and study and fail to integrate into the urban society well. Therefore,by carrying out professional social work services, the author understands the needs of children, solves their problems and improves the self-confidence of migrant children to help them better integrate into the society.Taking the H community of X as an example, the author understands the living conditions of migrant children in the community, and uses questionnaires,semi-structured interviews and participatory observation as the basis for the theory of social support to further understand the needs of migrant children. In the survey, the author found that most of the mobile children have low self-identification,self-expression ability, weak peer communication ability,it is difficult to integrate into the community.Through a large number of investigations, the author found that the main causes of these problems are: children’s psychological tolerance is weak, parents lack of attention, poor peer interaction. The author has carried out related activities on these issues: knowing each other, looking for excellent self, small body, infinite possibilities,self-presentation,breakthrough self-improvement from improving the self-efficacy of mobile children feel to enhance the self-confidence of mobile children. At the same time, before and after the group activities using the Rosenberg self-confidence scale for mobile children for pre-and post-test,after comparison,it was found that mobile children’s self-confidence significantly improved. The same changes in real-world activities are great, mainly reflected in: increased motivation in the face of activities, the ability to communicate fully in the face of peers, the ability to better recognize their strengths and strengths, more clear speech,in the game can work with others to complete activities,in the end of the activities can show themselves in front of everyone. All this shows that the work of the group plays an important role in improving the self-confidence of migrant children. At the same time,it is hoped that the work of the group can help more mobile children to solve similar problems to provide reference,so that migrant children can change, better integrate into urban life, have a better future. |
