Physical education at school is an important constituent part of Chinese higher education.The spirit of the eighteenth National Congress of the CPC and the Third Plenary Session ofChinese communist said that deepening the field of education and comprehensive reform;strengthen physical education and extracurricular exercise; improve teenagers’ physical andmental health to build up strong body. Amongst schools of physical education programs, theart and physical education programs of the opening ceremony of the games at universities is acomprehensive practical work that need highly integrated of various arts. It’s the highlight ofthe opening ceremony, the bright spot of the physical education of the college, it’s promotingsports spirit, showing school’s actual strength, and it’s a method and a platform to present theeffects of the teaching of physical education programs. The performance of the art andphysical education programs is not only to prominent the characteristic of sports, it needshigher artistry. In term of the performance of the arts and physical education programs, it’s notonly to show up the strength of running a school, the achievements of teaching sports, thereveal of the campus culture, the more is to motivate and guide the students’ consciousnessand behavior of participation. Therefore, in perspective of the opening ceremony of the gamesfor universities, it’s realistically significant to explore the effects of students’ participation interms of the performance of art and physical education programs.The research of this article is made through different groups of students amongst11universities within Shijiazhuang city before and after the opening ceremony of the sport game,it’s about the influences and effects of performance of art and physical education programs inaspect of degree of participating sport, the ways and the cognition etc. It shows the effects ofperformance of art and physical education programs on opening ceremony and thedevelopment goal of the program. The research is to enrich domestic theories of art andphysical education programs, as well as technology development, teaching and trainingsystem. Also it provides a new view for universities’ sports culture construction, and creativethoughts for promoting exploring the art and physical education programs and teachingpractice. In terms of research status, this article is mainly apply literatures to comment on aspectsof sports participation, art and physical education programs, opening ceremony andperformance etc; and adopts interviews to consult about the effects of research ideas, methodsand theoretical basis while students participate the performance of art and physical education;Questionnaire investigation is applied aiming at Physical course teachers among the11universities in Shijiazhuang city and found out that, the forms and the contents of the openingceremony of the games in universities are mainly based on art and physical educationprograms, and the choose of the contents and results generally reach the targeted requirementsof the teaching and performing. The activities organized methods of opening ceremonyperforming and the compulsory regulation system of the sports course in universities impedethe students’ enthusiasm of sports participation.The analysis of the two questionnaire investigation of the opening ceremony (before andafter) of the sports games has found out that, in terms of art and physical education programs,there are some effects existed on sports participated respect of ways, level and cognition. Thephenomenon of stronger effects exists after the sport game is widespread. Overall, the art andphysical education program gives positive facilitation of sport participation cognition,behavior and habit; There are more effects to students on three participating ways of “Optionof sport course”,“extracurricular physical exercise” and “watching sport events performance”;Smaller influence is shown in two ways of participation which is aspect of “sportcompetition” and “consumption of sport goods”; The performers have stronger effects thanaudiences in aspects of “Option of sport course”,“extracurricular physical exercise” and“viewing sport events performance”; Performers show big influence with “interested injoining art and physical education programs study”, and performers obviously have higherinfluences than audiences in terms of “sport participating frequency”,“single duration ofexercise” and “effects on physical exercise participation”; There are certain effects to studentson “cognition of involving sport”,“emotion of taking in sport” and “interests of partakingsports”; Performers have clearer effects on “Raising exercising technique”,“enhancingappreciatory of art and physical education program” and “building up personal specific sport;Audience is affected more on “increasing sports knowledge” and “interest of appreciating artand physical education programs”, but no clear effects on emotion of involving physical exercise.The article points out that school should progressively increase input on teaching,training and performing in terms of art and physical education programs, such as enhancepropagates in class, search for novel teaching methods; develop marvelous ways of art andphysical education programs performing; meanwhile school should vigorously support andorganize the performance of art and physical education programs; also to launch variousactivity of shows of art and physical education programs; and bring out different types ofcampus culture events to increase the opportunities and frequencies of performing art andphysical education programs; as well as guiding the relative association to carry out activities,and lastly to adjust the management mechanism of compulsory course of public sports.
