This study aims to probe the learning adaptation of the grade seven students ofZunyi City Guizhou Province, insight the factors that influencing these students’learning adaptation and comparing the difference of conditions caused by differentgender, rural-urban disparity, family structure and living conditions.This study was taken by structured questionnaires that included severalsemi-structural method of interviews were used to collect information.1100questionnaires were sent to grade seven students of Zunyi City Guizhou Province,1009effective questionnaires have been returned,91.72%were returned. All data gatheredwere statistic analysed in Mean Value, Standard Deviation, independent-samples T Testby using the software SPSS17.0,Second, the study was conducted by interviewing tenjunior school teachers with “semi-structural method of interview”. The findingsindicated:1.Grade seven students are best in learning adaptation following by interpersonalrelationship, curriculum and teaching arrangement and learning environment. Overall,Grade7students are good in learning adaptation.2.On the gender side, we found that grade seven students are influenced by genderin learning adaptation. Grade seven students in different genders are different inlearning method, curriculum and teaching arrangement and learning environment. Girlsare better than boys.3.On the rural-urban disparity side, grade seven students from rural areas and theones from urban areas are different and the students from rural area are better than theones from urban areas.4.On the family structure side, there is no notable difference between single parentfamily and two-parent family. 5.The comparation of left-behind children and Ordinary Children, notabledifferences come up in this side by studying learning method, interpersonal relationship,curriculum and teaching arrangement and learning environment which are showed thatOrdinary Children are better than left-behind children. But there is no difference incurriculum and teaching arrangement.6.The main factors that influencing learning adaptation are:(1)The essences ofprimary school student and junior high school student;(2)Differences betweenindividuals;(3)Family environment;(4)Teacher factors;(5)Course factors;(6)Educational policy factors;(7)Social and cultural phenomenon factors.Finally, according to the results, corresponding countermeasures and suggestionsfor educational authorities, teachers, parents, and further research in the future will beproposed.
