University Of London, England Education Modernization

London University is the first modern university established during England higher education transformation period in19st Century. It not only started the modernization, but changed the structure of England higher education. By investigating the establishment of London University and its relation with the modernization of England higher education, the development of England higher education can be understood comprehensively.This paper systemically investigated the progress and influence of establishment of London University on England higher education in19st Century with the direction of Historical Materialism the methodology of History and Pedagogy. With based on that, features of modernization and influences on England higher education modernization of London University were analyzed, and therefore found out the historical position of London University in England higher education modernization.This article is divided into introduction, main body and conclusion.The general description of research results of domestic and foreign experts is provided in introduction.At the first part of main text, the development of England higher education and other educational institutions at London before the establishment of London University is described; then at the second part, the background, bases, procedures and development until the end of19th are introduced detailedly; lastly at the third part, characters of modernization and influences of London University on England higher education modernization were analyzed and concluded.Conclusion part is the summary of the whole thesis, and the establishment of London University and the relation with the modernization of England higher education are briefly analyzed and summarized.
