The Investigation And Analysis Of The Current Situation In Teaching Chinese In The Nachuak Pittayasan School In The Northeast Of Thailand

As with Chinese as a second language become more and more popular all over theworld, the Education Department of Thailand attach more importance to teaching Chineseto students in the public primary and middle school. The department not only cultivatesThai Chinese teachers, but also imports more and more Chinese Chinese teachers as well.In2013, there were about1700teachers from China come to Thailand teaching Chinese allover this land.However, as one of all the teachers who come to the Nachuak Pittayasan School in thenortheast of Thailand, I was affected by the local people’s enthusiasm in learning Chinese,realize the local culture full of variety and discover many problems in teaching Chinese inthe past year.The northeast of Thailand, as the most poverty-stricken district in Thailand, still has areally long way to go in developing its teaching level and quality. So I took an examplewith the Nachuak Pittayasan School and made this report as my graduation thesis, to helpsomeone really intend to make contribution to teaching Chinese to Thai people.There are four parts of the report. Besides the foreword which introducing theresearch method and significance, the Chapter one introduces the local environment, theteachers, students, books, the development of teaching Chinese and surroundings inMahasarakham Province. The Chapter two starts from the current situation of teaching andproblems, finds out the reasons and analysis it. The Chapter three provides the solutions tosolve these problem in daily teaching. And the last chapter introduces some local cultureactivities which is related to China and Chinese Culture.
