This study is based on the Evolution of China’s sports industry, focusing on theanalysis of the basic characteristics of the development of the sports industry, historicalexperience, the main questions and learn the basis of developed countries on thedevelopment of sports industry experience, made specific recommendations for thedevelopment of China’s sports industry. Studies suggest that:Evolution of China’s sports industry and China’s economic and social change has animportant relationship to the context of economic and social development, China’s sportsindustry can be divided into the Evolution of the primitive stage, infancy, early stage andrapid development stage. The total evolution characteristics were as follows: RegionalDevelopment presented the strong west to east; sporting goods industry lags services;main economic structure of the public sector gradually shift to non-public; public sportsis sports subjects. Experience the evolution of the main government attaches importanceto the history of the sports industry to promote the development of China’s sports industryis favorable security; sports reform under the background of economic reform is themain power sports industry development; sports industry is an important boost toenhance cognitive development of sports industry. There exists insufficient scale of theoverall development of the sports industry is still small, and the structure is strong unity;sports ideology under the planned economic system transformation is not complete;government to locate and sports functions may not be implemented; sports industrymanagement can not keep up. For this, put forward specific measures: First, thetransformation of government functions, to promote the sports industry market; secondis to provide incentives to support the development of sports industry; guide theexpansion of three diversified sports consumer market; fourth is targeted, level pushdevelopment of sports industry; five market-oriented development of sports talentresources.
