Evaluation On The Rationality Of Jiangsu Population Distribution

Since reform and opening up, urbanization accelerating, population growingday by day, population migration and flow accelerating and deepening, thepopulation distribution unreasonable situation is increasingly clear along withChina’s economic leap type development. As the main inflow area of the populationmigration and flow, population problem in Jiangsu province is increasinglyprominent. The Twelfth Five-year Population Development Plan of Jiangsu Province,in which, it puts forward the measure that “guiding the orderly flow of population,and promoting the reasonable population distribution, to ensure the populationdevelopment target of structure dynamic optimization, scientific and rationaldistribution realization”, will put the reasonable distribution of population on theagenda. In this context, this paper is going to study the rationality of the populationdistribution in Jiangsu province with various materials like Sixth Census and so on,and then puts forward relevant policy suggestions.Firstly, based on the full understanding population distribution study of thetheoretical foundation and the development process, this paper confirmed the articlethe research content and the whole frame according to my own ideas and researchneed.Secondly, the paper analyzed the rationality of the population distribution inJiangsu province from three levels: the present situation of population distributioncharacteristic analysis, population distribution of the influencing factors analyses andthe rationality of the population distribution evaluation.(1). To describe the presentsituation of population distribution characteristics in Jiangsu province respectivelyfrom thirteen cities and three area, static and dynamic with population quantity,population ratio, population density, close degree, location quotient of populationdensity, population center of gravity. The population of Jiangsu province mainlyconcentrates in the coastal, economic developed city and traffic, political center, anddistributes unevenly. There were significant differences between regions. Populationcenter of gravity changes is lesser, and the distribution is relatively stable.(2). Byusing the Grey Relational Analysis method, this paper analyzes the relationship ofpopulation density index and the influence factors, so as to determine the three majorinfluence factors indicators of population distribution which are resources and the environment, economic development and social development, and then establishedindex system of population distribution influence factors.(3). Using AHP todetermine the weight of influencing factors and their indexes, this paper makes anempirical study from three point of view: city, region and dynamic. According to theanalysis found that population distribution is not reasonable, and compared with thereality population, most of the city’s population in excess state; population pressureof a few urban is too great; the extremely individual urban population distribution isreasonable. Southern and northern area population distribution is not reasonable. Themiddle area population distribution reasonable degree is roughly equal with theprovince’s average, and the population distribution is more reasonable. Clusteringresults showed that13cities can be divided into five categories, only part of thecity’s reasonable distribution or has reasonable trend.Finally, summarizing the full text, and giving policy suggestions: protection ofenvironment, conservation of resources, to provide good external conditions forpopulation reasonable distribution; to speed up the development of regionaleconomy and realize the regional balance, then to promote the rationalization ofpopulation distribution; positively to develop social programs, improve socialsecurity and realize social justice, then to promote population reasonabledistribution; actively yet prudently to proceed with population urbanizationconstruction, and to coordinate population reasonable redistribution.
