In recent years, our government and society gradually pay attention to the rural basiceducation, and increased capital input, has adopted many preferential policies, rural basiceducation in our country, especially in less developed rural areas of basic education hasachieved great development, but at present our country less developed area of thedevelopment of rural basic education, there are still a lot of problems, and need to beresolved in a timely manner. The existing problems are mainly due to the educationresources are not balanced, the different levels of economic development, so that there is abig gap around the school running conditions, the quality of running a school, managementlevel and the teaching staff. Although China has implemented nine years of freecompulsory education, but the national basic education funding is still inadequate,educational resources and unbalanced development of basic education in rural areas, theless developed area is limited, is not conducive to the integration of urban and rural areasand around the building of a new socialist countryside. Therefore, efforts to change thecurrent situation of rural basic education in underdeveloped areas become problemsurgently needed in the development of education in China, related to the harmony andstability in rural society developed area development and society. In this paper, firstlyintroduces the background, purpose and significance of the topic, the research methods andideas, concepts, research situation both at home and abroad, the innovation etc.. Then,introduces the Hekou Yao Autonomous County as well as students, teachers, infrastructure,investment in education, rural education development. Then, through the development ofeducation situation in Hekou County, points out the existing development of rural basiceducation developed in question, and has carried on the analysis. Finally, aiming at thedevelopment of rural basic education problems in the underdeveloped areas, to increaseinput in education, improve the mechanism, change the educational ideas, put forwardsome countermeasures to narrow the gap between urban and rural education.
