Research On The Management Of University Students In The Context Of The Fifth Media

With the rapid development of information technology, the fifth media, which is convenient, fast and portable, meets students’ needs to communicate with their friends and to check information. The fifth media has provided new channels for the students to obtain various kinds of information, exchange ideas, entertain while surfing online and broaden their horizons, however, it also poses challenges to the students and the management of students in colleges and universities.This essay aims to illustrate the characteristics of the fifth media and the management of the students in colleges and universities and the status quo of the application of fifth media in colleges and universities, analyze the active and negative effect, opportunities and challenges brought by the fifth media. It also makes suggestions about how to accelerate the construction of digital campus and to develop the service platform of the fifth media so as to provide better service for the students and enhance the quality of management.
