Teachers College students as future teachers successor, themainstay of the irability to have a direct impact on the future levelof the quality of national education, the future growth anddevelopment of students. In recent years, a survey about newlyposted higher normal students shows that: it is difficult for highernormal students to change their role well when they enter theteaching work, they can not bear the school’s normal teaching andjob growth cycle for new teachers is too long and so on. It showsthat the combination between cultivate target of high normalcollege and require of elementary and secondary school is not closeenough, it can not enhance "normal". The core content of "Normal"is teaching ability, therefore, normal universities should train theteaching ability of higher normal students actively, while make anobjective and correct evaluation to the higher normal students. Tomake sure higher normal students can get all-round development incollege, and then they will leave campus into society and start theirworking life. Providing a solid foundation for the future whenstudent becoming "expert". This thesis uses literature, scientific method questionnaire,teaching experiment, content analysis, etc.. After two rounds ofscreening questionnaire to the teacher of the normal university,then we determine nine indicators of teaching ability here in: theability to write lesson plans, the ability if using teaching materialsand methods, language expression ability, demonstrating andexplaining ability, the ability to find and correct errors, the ability touse equipment, the ability to process emergency, the ability toprotect and assist students, evaluation ability. The author alsodesigns specific evaluation criteria to the nine indicators, combinedwith the ability teaching to form a general rule. On the basis ofconsistent with the school teaching programs, the author divideinto four stages to design the specific training methods andmeasures of the nine indicators. The author makes premier and posttext to students of P.E Major2010grade volleyball elective in ShanXi Normal University. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) Aftercultivate the students teaching ability, there is a significantdifference on cognition of students’ teaching ability after the twoexperiments, the students have a more clearly understand toteaching ability;(2) Though comparing the basic skill of volleyballand combining the text data of the two experiments shows that, theexperiment which based on cultivating students’ teaching abilityhas a positive effect to students’ volleyball skills;(3) On theteaching of volleyball elective, through curriculum designing, togive students more practice opportunities during class time to thinkpositively, to train students teaching ability targeted andpertinence. The cultivation to the higher normal students is effective andfeasible;(4)Before class, students write preparatory activities,micro-lesson lesson plans, restoring and modifying of lesson planscan fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the students, which have asignificant effect for students’ lesson plans writing skills and theability of using teaching materials and methods;(5)By using ofstudent demonstrate theoretical knowledge, comes preparatoryactivities, micro-lessons, teaching lessons, lesson evaluation,partner plays "mutually teacher", the system of charge mancharging and writing evaluation reflection,etc.. Students havegreatly improved at the ability of language expression,demonstrating and explaining ability, the ability to find and correcterrors, the ability to use equipment. The ability of processingemergency has greater chance, it is difficult to grasp and controland need long-term to explore. In order to form their own solutionsto face emergencies more practice and summarize should be doneduring teaching process. Thus the ability of processing emergencyof students need to be improved;(6) After the class, the studentsmake an on objective evaluation to their own, their partners andteachers, and write reflection evaluation. The ability of evaluatingtheir volleyball project need to be improved;(7) To analyze a randomsample of three students, the author finds that: before the pre-textstudents’ teaching ability are not close to each other, but after thecultivating experimental, teachers’ proper guidance and studentsactive participate and practice, maybe students teaching abilitycan reach the same level.
