The five consecutive victories of Chinese women volleyball teamObjective: Physical characteristics of children are influenced by manyfactors. There are some difference in children’s physical conditiondue to the different of the natural geographical conditions, economicdevelopment level, dietary habit and climatic conditions in ourcountry. Analysis of the status, discipline and their differences of Hanchildren size and the development of constitution parameter indifferent urban and rural regions has important academicsignificance and value. Firstly, it can promote further understandingand grasping the development status and law of China’s urban andrural Han children in size and physical constitution. Secondly, thecauses and mechanisms of regional difference can be revealed.Thirdly, these analyses can provide basic information and evidencefor all levels education administration and all types primary schoolsmoothly developing the work in student’s education, sports, health, and the selection of athletes. Finally, some references can be carriedout for taking targeted measures to promote the growth anddevelopment of children in various regions. Methods: According to the data of2010National Student PhysicalFitness Test, some quality indicators are selected from children aged7-12, including height, weight, chest,50-meter run, standing longjump, oblique chin (male), sit-ups (female), Sit and Reach,50m×8shuttle run. And they are divided into six regions for dataconsolidation. The data of2010National Student Physical FitnessTest are analyzed by SPSS19.0statistical software, Excel2007mapsoftware. A statistical test is performed about the physical fitnesstesting index of students in different areas of city and township, which the results compares with the national average. Then, theregional difference of children’s size and physical fitness isdiscussed. Results: By comparing the body size and physical quality index ofHan children aged from7to12from the data of2010National StudentPhysical Fitness Test, it is found that somatotypes index of ourchildren shows certain regional characteristics whether urban, rural, male and female, which is the roughly trend of gradually increasingfrom southwest to northeast.(1)The overall trend for the height: North China> East China>Northeast region> South China> Northwest Region> SouthwestRegion;(2) The overall trend for the weight: North China> East China>Northeast region> South China> Northwest Region> SouthwestRegion;(3) The overall trend for the chest: North China> East China>Northeast> South China> Northwest Region>region SouthwestRegion; (4) Sensitivity quality from poor to good: East China> North China> South China> Southwest Region> Northwest Region> Northeastregion;(5) Explosive force quality from poor to good: East China> SouthChina> Southwest Region> North China> Northwest Region>Northeast region;(6) The overall trend of muscular strength quality: East China>South China> Northeast region> Southwest Region> NorthwestRegion> North China;(7) The overall trend of children’s flexibility quality: North China>East China> Southwest Region> South China> Northwest Region>Northeast region;(8) The overall trend of endurance quality: East China> SouthChina> Southwest Region> Northwest Region> North China>Northeast region;(9) Factors of the relative humidity in natural environment, totaltime of sunshine, annual average temperature and annualprecipitation have little influence on somatotype and physical qualityfor our country children. And there is no discipline to follow.(10) Some elements such as annual per capita consumption in thesocial environment, per capita annual net income situation, theconsumption of educational, entertainment and service, along withGDP have a greater impact on the somatotype of our children, butthere is no obvious effect on the physical quality, not to speak of theregular pattern. Conclusions: It’s found that our children’s size and the index of physical qualityhave regional characteristics. The index of physical fitness ofchildren in different regional is affected not only by genetic factor butalso by the environmental cause. And the impact of socialenvironmental factor is greater. Under the premise of the factors ofcongenital genetic and natural environmental difficult to change atpresent, the physical characteristics should be enhanced throughchanging sociological factors, for example, increasing physicalactivity, proper diet nutrition, removal of bad schedule habits.
