In recent years, a strong conclusion has been confirmed that high quality of Chinese classroom teaching comes from high efficiency of Chinese teaching content. As the main genre of high school Chinese textbook, the efficiency of modern prose teaching content has a direct impaction on quality of language classroom teaching and language accomplishment of high school students. Thus, it will has positive significance to improve the effectiveness of modern prose to constructing a scientific and effective index system of modern prose teaching content of high school and makes the index system fully plays its function of orientation, description, prediction. The research will place valuation theory and methods of modern prose teaching content of high school on core of discussion. The main contents are as follows:1.The rationale and presentation for establishment of modern prose teaching content of high school. Through collating and analyzing relevant literature, this study tease outs five-point rationale for modern prose teaching content of high school:Chinese curriculum natural and goals; writing style of Chinese textbook for high school; characteristics of text style for modern prose of high school; high school students’ cognition, thinking levels and learning needs; personal qualities of high school Chinese teachers. Above contentsprovide theoretical support for the establishment of index system. Inaddition, via analyzing three teachers’ teaching design and teachingRecord for <the record of imprison green>, the research has definedpresentations of modern prose teaching content of high school:copywriting design, dynamically generated, The results arepresented, sorted out the differences and relations between teachingcontent and teaching objectives, teaching process, teaching methods.It provides guidance for the practical application of the index system.2. Index system construction of modern prose teaching content ofhigh school. Based on referencing the existing research achievement,this study constructs a theoretical index system from threedimensions: modern prose teaching knowledge content of high school,modern prose teaching practice content of high school, modern proseteaching culture emotional content of high school. According toquestionnaires, correct the index system. At last, established theindex system construction of modern prose teaching content of highschool, it consists three first-level index, seven second-level index,eighteen third-level index.3. Practice of the index system of modern prose teaching contentof high school. The study uses experts’ consultation to establishweight system, according to every index weights to open up“Classroom Observation Scale of Modern Prose Teaching Content ofHigh School”, and applies this observation scale to evaluate teachingrecord in order to explore its applicability. Furthermore, the studyfrom the guiding role of modern prose style comments on the relatedteaching contents of <Record A Speech of Mr. Liang Rengong>.
