Modern prose in Su Jiaoban textbooks in the account for a large proportion, hasbecome an important part of Chinese teaching, but the current high school teaching ofmodern prose is not just as one wishes. This thesis mainly through literature research andcase analysis, the use of educational psychology, curriculum theory, learning theory andother related theory, to the high school teaching of modern prose research contentdetermination. First, reviews the development and change of the teaching contents ofmodern prose, from the modern prose development and teaching content analysis andpresentation of the prose teaching in the changes of the contents of the status quo. Then itpoints out four on the basis of modern prose teaching content determined: Chinesecurriculum standard, the editors write intention and suggestions for teaching, modern prosestylistic features, the learning needs of students. Finally the article analyses "recordednarrative prose","describing scenery prose","talking about philosophy","Lyric Prose"four masters of teaching case, determine it different teaching contents of prose.
