The employment environment of college students is not optimistic in recentyears. The number of college students has started soaring year by year since theenrollment expansion of our country’s higher education in1999. According to theministry of education in our country in2013, the gross enrollment ratio of highereducation has reached30%. This fact suggests that our country’s higher education hasalready changed from the elite stage to the popularization stage. The socialdevelopment of our country is in transition period at that time. The national collegestudents’ employment system is not perfect; the limited number of jobs in the society;college students structural imbalance between supply and demand of human resources;and the impact of the global financial crisis. All above reasons make the societycannot absorb all the university graduates. So college students’ employment problemsnot only stand out but also increase year by year. The difficult problems of universitystudents’ employment affect the stability of social politics and forecast the nationaleducation structure imbalanced. That manifests the shortcomings in the course of thedevelopment of higher education in our country. And related to millions of collegestudents and their families’ vital interests. Therefore, it’s urgent to solve the problemsof college students’ employment.The research mainly adopts literature analysis method, depth interviews methodand personal observation method to achieve our aims. First, to analysis theconnotation of university students’ employment environment, which help peopleunderstand what is the university students’ employment environment accurately.Second, to find substantive factors of university students’ employment activity by theinvestigation about the present situation of university students’ employmentenvironment, which help people grasp the key to the college students’ employmentproblems. Finally, to put forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the university students’ employment environment, which help to play a guiding role tosolve the problems.First, the study analysis the university students’ employment environmentconnotation and expounds that college students employment environment is the sumof the external factors that affect college students’ employment, which decisive roleon college students’ employment. Second, this study is based on analysis of theconnotation of university students’ employment environment. The research dividescollege students employment environment into cultural environment, policyenvironment, market environment and the idea of unit of choose and employ persons,etc. We found that: many culture environment restrict college students’ employment,such as " the doctrine of the mean","grade","inaction","acquaintances relationship"," officialdom is the natural outlet for good scholars"," home of the world"," men aresuperior to women"," appoint people by favouritism" and " a marriage betweenfamilies of equal social rank". The implementation of the national employment policyhas brought adverse effect. Due to the national economic development imbalance, thereason such as the imbalance in the structure of education led to the human resourcesof the students structural imbalance, and hinder college students employment. Unit ofone-sided choose and employ persons and talent is a major cause of leading toemployment discrimination, and damaged the fairness of the university students’employment environment. Finally, the study puts forward the countermeasures toimprove college students’ employment environment. Such as the government shouldimprove the system of the existing university students’ employment and make newemployment policy, support small and medium enterprises vigorously, establishcollege students’ employment service and market supervision mechanism, etc.Colleges and universities should work through professional structure adjustment,cooperation between colleges and vocational guidance work to promote universitystudents’ employment. Employing units should reverse concept of choosing andemploying persons and absorb more talent. For college students, they should improvethe level of knowledge and ability, strengthening the consciousness of law, such as changing employment idea to adapt to the employment environment of collegestudents.
