In recent years, Korea’s highlighting development of moral education has beenrecognized by many countries. Korea had been through a special period of socialtransformation, during which values were impacted by multivariate cultures andthoughts, but Korea has ensured that the Confucian ethical thought is the core of hismoral education. And with the constantly reforms and adjustments of his moraleducation, Korea has formed a kind of moral education system that fits hisself-development with its own characteristics. Now China is undergoing an importantperiod of social transformation, and junior is also a critical period to establishteenagers’ moral values. Therefore, this paper takes the moral education curriculum asthe starting point, takes the current moral education concept of Korea junior highschool as the criterion, and expands the practical analysis of Korean junior highschool moral education through interpreting the specific meaning. And thencombining with the current situation of our moral education, absorbing the excellentexperience and methods of Korea and exploring purposefully, this paper will providea reference to our moral education of junior high school and even the whole moraleducation system.The paper is divided into five parts:The first part mainly clarifies the reason and significance of this topic, thepaper’s research methods, its innovation and lack of research, and summarizes thecurrent situation of its research. These are the basis to analyze the paper.The second part is the macro background and changes of Korean junior highschool’s moral education. Starting from the background of the moral education inKorea after World War II, which includes his basic national conditions, politics, economies, cultures and so on, the paper explores the deep reasons of implementingmoral education in Korea and the changes happened in the moral education, andcarefully analyzes the main contents related to Korean junior high school’s moraleducation of the seven Korean curriculum reforms and two major adjustments inrecent years.The third part focuses on the basic connotation of the junior high school moraleducation in Korea. Based on the seventh moral education reform and two educationalprocess adjustments in2007and2009, and through the analysis of the nature,objective and content of his moral education curriculum, this paper shows the presentstatus of the junior high school moral education in Korea.The fourth part elaborates the teaching methods, approaches, and curriculumevaluations of Korea’s junior high school moral education. Through summarizing thecurrent references, interview contents and practical observation, this paper furtherproves the implementation of learning from Korea during improving our moraleducation.The fifth part is the enlightenment to our country that comes from moraleducation of Korean middle school. With a brief description about some problems ofKorean junior high school’s existing moral education, Combined with the actualsituation in China and Korea’s junior high school moral education, and then proposedbeneficial enlightenments to our country. That is to say, cultivate nationalconsciousness and national identity, practice the socialist core values; strengthensystematic and suitable etiquette education, carry forward the good tradition culture ofChina; utilize teaching styles and learning ways, enhance students’ self-discipline ofmoral; strengthen moral education consensus, Work together to moral education bythe whole society; reasonably utilize evaluation methods and enhance the professionalevaluation of moral lesson’s teachers.
