The college entrance examination is not only the recruitment exam, but also the summative exam which tests the level of students’basic education and determines if they can go into college. Therefore, in addition to the basic knowledge level focus on students’ examination, the college entrance examination pays more attention to whether they perfectly have the ability of subject and subject spirit. The college entrance examination has the function of guidance to the teaching. And study on the college entrance examination papers plays an important role in understanding the new curriculum, promoting the teaching and teachers’development.As a microcosm of the national higher education entrance examination, the high school of Hainan province began to enter the new curriculum reform from the beginning of2004, and to2007it ushered in the first college entrance examination after the new curriculum reform. This article begins from the establishment of two-way specification table, and by two-way specification table, we analyses the2007-2013college entrance examination paper of biology in Hainan province, such as examination objectives, knowledge, examination content etc. Overall, in the past seven years these tests reflected the requirements of the curriculum standards and syllabus, and had examined a wide range of knowledge. Based on the textbook, the tests paid attention to the basis and emphasized the construction of knowledge network system between knowledge points. Taking knowledge as the carrier, the tests paid more attention to ability, including understanding ability, the ability to access information, experiment exploring ability and comprehensive ability, and to the spirit of science and the scientific attitude were also reflected. The degree of difficulty was reasonable, and there was a certain degree of differentiation and a certain one’s own knack in the innovation and opening. For the selection work of college entrance examination the tests could also play a positive role.Through analysis and literature, the author discusses some proposition trend of college entrance examination, points out the importance to the understanding and use of the curriculum standards and syllabus, thinking some questions may impact on teaching, proposing biological teaching strategies in daily classroom, and suggests that teachers should return materials, based on the basis, focus on the main knowledge education, require students to construct knowledge network system, and develop the capacity of all aspects, improve the level of problem solving.
